In part I [see the foregoing entry] the authors discussed Fourier expansions with irreducible tensorial coefficients for orientation distribution functions in order to enable micromechanically-based approaches to mechanical and physical properties of heterogeneous materials. In the present work they derive explicit representations for tensorial Fourier expansions of three-dimensional crystal orientation distribution functions, the restricted forms being imposed by various micro- and macroscopic symmetries. The results constitute a rational basis for modelling the irreversible behaviour of heterogeneous materials in the framework of internal variables.
