On Chen ideal submanifolds satisfying some conditions of pseudo-symmetry type (Q5964905)

The authors investigate Chen ideal submanifolds in Euclidean spaces for which the difference tensor \(R \cdot C - C \cdot R\) is expressed by some Tachibana tensors (where \(R\) is the curvature tensor and \(C\) the Weyl conformal curvature tensor). It is proved that this property of ideal submanifolds occurs if and only if their shape operators have specific forms with respect to orthonormal tangent frame fields and orthonormal normal frame fields.
