For the classical hyperbolic Askey-Wilson dynamics, which as also known as the relativistic \(BC_{1}\) Calogero-Moser system, an explicit angle-action map is constructed. First, without using the Lax matrix, an action-angle map is constructed for the classical \(A_{1}\) dynamics. The key point in the procedure is a certain simple symmetry identity. After that, the construction in generalized to the \(BC_{1}\) case, with some non-obvious symmetry identity as a key starting point, without involving scattering theory or a Lax matrix. In the obtained action-angle map, the four coupling constants are restricted in such a way that no bound states occur.
