\textit{A. Conca} et al. [Am. J. Math. 119, No. 4, 859--901 (1997; Zbl 0920.13003)] proved that for a bigraded algebra \(R\), the diagonal subalgebra \[ R_{\Delta}=\bigoplus_{s\geq 0} R_{(cs,es)} \] is Koszul where \(c\) and \(e\) are sufficiently large integers. The paper under review is a study to improve estimates on \(c\) and \(e\) concerning the koszulness of bigraded diagonal subalgebras. In this way the author devotes his attention to the homogeneous ideal generated by a regular sequence of \(k\) forms of degree \(d\) over the polynomial ring \(S=K[x_1, \dots,x_n].\) The main technical lemma provides an upper bound for the end of \(\mathrm{Tor}(-,K)\) and the regularity of the zeroth homology of a complex of graded modules. Applications of this lemma lead to the following main results: {\parindent=6mm \begin{itemize}\item[{\(\bullet\)}] The same result as Corollary 6.10(2) of Conca et al. holds even if the polynomial ring is replaced by a standard graded koszul ring. \item[{\(\bullet\)}] Affirmative answer to the conjecture of the page 900 of [loc. cit.] for \(k=3\). \item[{\(\bullet\)}] An extension of the Theorem 6.2 of [loc. cit.]. \end{itemize}}
