A Fuchsian system is a linear system of ordinary differential equations with complex time and logarithmic poles. A family of Fuchsian systems (sometimes called deformation) is isomonodromic if its monodromy group does not change throughout the deformation. Painlevé equations are related to Schlesinger's isomonodromic deformations. Garnier systems are completely integrable systems related to isomonodromy. The author studies movable singularities of such systems by using an approach based on the relationship between them and Schlesinger's deformations, as well as Lauricella hypergeometric equations. The latter are systems of second order partial differential equations.
