On the multiplicity of periodic solutions of mountain pass type for a class of semilinear PDE's (Q926613)

The authors prove the existence of many mountain pass periodic solutions of the semilinear elliptic equation \[ -\Delta u+F_u(x,u)=0,\quad x\in \mathbb R^{n} \] on the torus \(\mathbb R^{n+1}/\mathbb Z^{n+1},\) where \(u:\mathbb R^{n}\to \mathbb R\) and \(F\) is a \(C^2\)-function \(1\)-periodic in all variables.
