The authors investigate the solutions of cubic Schrödinger equations with small initial data (or small nonlinearity) and their spectral semi-discretizations in the space using analyzing a modulated Fourier expansion in time based on the paper of \textit{D. Cohen, E. Hairer} and \textit{C. Lubich} [Arch. Ration. Mech. Anal. 187, No. 2, 341--368 (2008; Zbl 1145.35087)].
