Let \(\sum x_n\) be an infinite series with partial sums \(s_n\). For \(k\geq 1\), let \[ {\mathcal A}_k=\left\{(s_n):\sum^\infty_{n=1}n^{k-1} |x_n|^k<\infty,\;x_n=s_n-s_{n-1}\right\}. \] A factorable matrix \(A= (a_{nk})\) is a lower triangular matrix with \(a_{nk}=a_nb_k\), \(0\leq k\leq n\). The main result is the following Theorem. Let \(A\) be a factorable matrix and let \(k>1\). Then \(A:{\mathcal A}_k\to{\mathcal A}_k\) if {\parindent7mm \begin{itemize}\item[(i)] \(\sum^{n-1}_{\nu=0}(a_{n-1,\nu}=a_{n\nu}-a_{nn})=O(\frac{1} {n\log n})\), \item[(ii)] \(\sum^\nu_{r=0}b_r=O((\nu+1)b_\nu)\), \item[(iii)] \(\sum^{n-1}_{\nu= 0}(a_{n-1,\nu}-a_{n\nu})=O(\frac{1}{n+1})\) hold. \end{itemize}} Sufficient conditions are derived for the discrete Cesàro, terraced and \(p\)-Cesàro matrices to be in the class \(({\mathcal A}_k:{\mathcal A}_k)\).
