The author shows interior estimates for the most general Monge-Ampère equations in two dimensions. Hölder continuity of second derivatives is estimated in terms of bounds on the function and its first derivatives. This result extends a similar result proved by L. Nirenberg less regularity on the coefficients is assumed.
