A well-known theorem in the theory of formations of soluble groups is Lubeseder's theorem. This says that every saturated formation of finite soluble groups is locally definable. In this paper a singular proof of the result is given. The extended result is proved, i.e. the version which omits the reference to soluble groups. The proof still mainly uses the techniques of modules over finite groups.
