Supercomplete bases in the space of symmetric functions (Q1264739)

The author studies inner products on the space Symm of symmetric functions. In each case there exists a natural unitary isomorphism between the space Symm and the boson Fock space, and the problem addressed by the author is that of determining the images of the Gaussian vectors of the boson Fock space in Symm under this isomorphism. A consequence is the construction of some supercomplete bases of Gaussian vectors in Symm. Included is also a discussion of the space of skew-symmetric functions and the analogous problem of transferring the Gaussian fermion vectors.
