Automorphism groups of cubic surfaces (Q1360886)

The automorphism group of a generic cubic surface is trivial [\textit{M. Koitabashi}, J. Algebra 116, No. 1, 130-142 (1988; Zbl 0663.14033)]. In this article, we determine the automorphism group of each non-singular cubic surface. B. Segre gave the list of nontrivial automorphism groups of cubic surfaces [\textit{B. Segre}, ``The nonsingular cubic surfaces'' (1942); pp. 147-152]. But his list is incomplete and descriptions of some groups are incorrect. He treats equations of cubic surfaces and his arguments are geometric. We do not treat any equation and our method is computational.
