Stochastic Loewner evolutions SLE\(_{\kappa}\) are conformally covariant processes describing the evolutions of random sets, called SLE\(_{\kappa}\) hulls, in the upper half-plane \(\mathbb{H}\) (where \(\kappa\) is a real parameter). The authors describe relations between SLE\(_{\kappa}\) equations and conformal field theories (CFTs) based on a group-theoretical interpretation of SLE\(_{\kappa}\) evolutions. A connection between CFTs coupled to \(SLE_{\kappa}\) hulls and two-dimensional gravity is also given. The authors obtain other interesting results in this research area and propose several conjectures.
