Sur les équations de Monge-Ampère. (About the Monge-Ampère equations) (Q1067091)

This paper considers the quasilinear Monge-Ampère equation: \[ (1)\quad \det (D^ 2u)=H(x,u,Du)\quad in\quad \Omega,\quad u\quad is\quad convex\quad on\quad {\bar \Omega},\quad u=\phi \quad on\quad \partial \Omega. \] First the existence proof is given for the case of convex Hamiltonian and then for the general Hamiltonian. Assuming the existence of a subsolution, regularity results for (1) are given. Conditions are obtained which guarantee the existence of subsolutions.
