For the \(M/K_ 2/m\) (where \(K_ 2\) indicates a distribution with rational Laplace transform with denominator of degree 2) the mean number E(Q) of waiting customers is investigated numerically. Observations of this mean under different service time distributions suggest some bounds for E(Q) under general service time distributions with fixed coefficient of variation.
