Extensions and generalizations of a theorem of Widder and of the theory of symmetric local semigroups (Q1074094)

The author, among other interesting results, proves a theorem on strongly continuous unitary groups and symmetric local semigroups. The author also gives a simple proof of \textit{A. Devinatz}'s [Duke Math. J. 22, 185-192 (1955; Zbl 0067.338)] generalization of a theorem of Widder concerning the representation of functions as Laplace integrals.
