The technical problem of recovering the values of a linear operator from noisy information about them is described in the Introduction. Traditionally, it is called \textit{the recovery problem for the operator}. In the simplest case, this problem was posed in a paper by \textit{S. A. Smolyak} [On optimal recovery of functions and functionals over them. Moscow: Moscow University (1965)], where the existence of a linear optimal recovery method was proved. Later, many authors obtained results in this direction. This article concerns the recovery of the operators by noisy information in the case that their norms are defined by integrals over infinite intervals. The authors study the conditions under which the dual extremal problem can be solved using the Lagrange function minimality condition. In this context, the dual problem, the Lagrange function minimality condition, and the recovery problems assuming the Lagrange function minimality condition are presented and investigated.
