Finite dimensional Grassmann algebras have some disadvantages in developing the theory of superanalysis over them. One of the disadvantages is the breakdown of the Leibniz rule and the chain rule of differentiation caused by ambiguity of derivatives of superfields with respect to odd variables. If we consider an infinite dimensional algebra of supernumbers, there is no ambiguity of derivatives. For physical reasons it is also inevitable to consider algebras with an infinite number of generators, for example, in formulating supersymmetric quantum field theory. \textit{A. Rogers} [J. Math. Phys. 21, 1352-1365 (1980; Zbl 0447.58003)] considered a Grassmann algebra \(B_{\infty}\) generated by a countable number of generators and introduced an \(\ell^ 1\) norm on \(B_{\infty}\) to make \(B_{\infty}^ a \)Banach algebra. Since there is a soul element which is not nilpotent in \(B_{\infty}\), some difficulty arises when we consider the Taylor expansions of superfields. In this letter we propose a new infinite dimensional topological algebra A which is an inductive limit of finite dimensional \(\sigma\)-commutative Banach algebras \(A_ n\) (\(\sigma\)-commutativity is a natural generalization of supercommutativity). Since A has enough generators, no unsatisfactory cancellation occurs in A. Since A is a union of \(A_ n\) as a set, the soul of any element of A is nilpotent and therefore any power series with coefficients in A converges at every soul point. Utilizing the algebra A with these basic properties, we have developed a satisfactory theory of superanalysis.
