The author introduces the concept of s-connectedness between subsets of a bitopological space with the following definitions. Let A and B be non- empty subsets of a bitopological space \((X,T_ 1,T_ 2)\). Then X is defined to be 12-connected [12-s-connected] between A and B if there is no subset F of X which is \(T_ 1\) closed and \(T_ 2\) open \([T_ 1\) semiclosed and \(T_ 2\) semiopen] such that \(A\subset F\subset X-B\). X is defined to be pairwise connected [pariwise s-connected] between A and B if X is 12-connected and 21-connected [12-s-connected and 21-s-connected] between A and B. This concept is studied in this paper and related to other similar notions. An appropriate class of mappings called pairwise sets-s- connected mappings is introduced and its properties considered.
