The authors study the Cauchy problem for a class of nonlinear systems of ordinary differential equations of \(n\) dimensions, where \(n\) is sufficient large. They prove that there exists \(n_0> 0\) sufficiently large such that, for all \(n> n_0\), the components of the solution to the Cauchy problem of the system satisfy some estimate and prove that, for all sufficiently large \(n\), the last component of the solution to the initial value problem of the system is an approximate solution for the initial value problem of a delay differential equation. The results are very interesting.
