This paper represents an exploratory effort to develop and characterize a fuzzy production correspondence. First, the authors present an economic motiviation for the application of fuzzy sets theory and its usefulness for analyzing production behavior. Next, they define the fuzzy production set and investigate the relationships between the basic properties of this set. Finally, they present concluding remarks summarizing the major results established and suggest applications of basic production theory to problems of interest.
