A class of functional differential equations of neutral type containing the linear part is considered. The direct Lyapunov method is applied for proving the stability of these equations. Transformation of the initial equations into linear system of ordinary differential equations. A Lyapunov functional is considered and asymptotic stability is proved then. Some nonlinear systems and second order systems are considered, as well.
