    In this paper hypersurfaces on the Euclidean unit-hypersphere \({\mathbf S}^{n+1}\) are investigated. An embedding \(x : {\mathbf M} \longrightarrow {\mathbf S}^{n+1}\) is called a Möbius isoparametric hypersurface if its Möbius form \(\Phi := -\rho^{-2} \sum_i(e_i(H) + \sum_j(h_{ij} - H \delta_{ij}) e_j(\log \rho))\theta_i\) vanishes and its Möbius shape operator \({\mathbf S} := \rho^{-1} (S - H \text{ id})\) has constant eigenvalues. Here \(\{e_i\}\) is a local orthonormal basis for \(I := dx\cdot dx\) with dual basis \(\{\theta_i\}\) and \(II := \sum_{ij} h_{ij} \theta_i \otimes \theta_j\) denotes the second fundamental form, \(H := \frac{1}{n} \sum_i h_{ii}, \rho^2 := \frac{n}{n-1}(||II||^2 - n H^2)\) and \(S\) denotes the shape operator of \(x\). The authors classify Möbius isoparametric surfaces with two distinct principal curvatures as follows: An arbitrary Möbius isoparametric hypersurface \(x : {\mathbf M} \longrightarrow {\mathbf S}^{n+1}\) with two distinct principal curvatures is equivalent to an open part of one of the following Möbius isoparametric hypersurfaces in \({\mathbf S}^{n+1}\). (i) the standard torus \({\mathbf S}^k(r) \times {\mathbf S}^{n-k}(\sqrt{1-r^2})\); (ii) the stereographic projection of the standard cylinder \({\mathbf S}^k(1)\times {\mathbb R}^{n-k} \subset {\mathbb R}^{n+1}\); (iii) the \(\tau\)-image of \({\mathbf S}^k(r)\times H^{n-k}(\sqrt{1+r^2})\) in \(H^{n+1}\) where \(H^m\) is the hyperbolic space \(H^m := \{(y_0, y_1) \in {\mathbb R}^+ \times {\mathbb R}^m \mid -y_0^2 + y_1^2 \cdot y_1 = -1\}\) and \(\tau\) is a special conformal map from \(H^{n+1}\) onto \({\mathbf S}^{n+1}\).
