    In two birth and death processes the birth parameters in the first process exceed the corresponding birth parameters in the second and the reverse inequality holds in the case of death parameters. By constructing both processes on the same probability space it is shown, that the number of individuals in the first process is, in a stochastic sense, larger then the corresponding number in the second process.
