Intuitionistic fuzzy sets and \(L\)-fuzzy sets (Q1971953)

The definitions of the concepts of \(L\)-fuzzy sets, intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IFSs) [see \textit{K. Atanassov}, ibid. 20, 87--96 (1986; Zbl 0631.03040)] and intuitionistic \(L\)-fuzzy sets (IL-FSs) [see \textit{K. Atanassov} and \textit{S. Stoeva}, in: Cybernetics and systems research 2, Proc. 7th Eur. Meet., Vienna/Austria 1984, 539--540 (1984; Zbl 0547.03030)] are described, and the following theorem is proved: The concepts of IFSs and IL-FSs and the concept of \(L\)-fuzzy sets are equivalent.
