The author studies the representation theory of conformal field theories. Currently, there exist three different mathematical formulations for treating conformal field theories, which are: 1. Conformal nets 2. Vertex operator algebras 3. Segal CFTs The main topic of the paper is to understand possible relationships between the mathematical formulations of these three different frameworks. I have been followed the proofs presented and agree with some of them. In general I believe the results obtained in this article are correct. However, I have not followed all the proofs and I would like to have some explicit examples showing the representation of the Virasoro algebras that this paper is trying to relate. There are also some general aspects that would need some improvements. For instance, in the discussion of Section 7, the connection with conformal quantum field theory could be made with explicit examples. The discussion is rather abstract and it is not written in a language that practitioners of quantum field theory would understand. In this way, I believe the reader would appreciate in more depth the relevance of the new results in the context of conformal field theories. After these added discussions are made, I would be happy to review again the manuscript.
