Let \(G_2 (\mathbb{C})\) be a simple complex Lie group of type \(G_2\), realized as a subgroup in \(\text{SL}(7,\mathbb{C})\) [\textit{K. I. Gross}, Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 132, 411-446 (1968; Zbl 0162.18901)]. In an earlier paper [Leningr. Math. J. 1, 765-797 (1990); translation from Algebra Anal. 1, 196-226 (1989; Zbl 0717.11024)], we considered the Eisenstein series on \(G_2(\mathbb{C})\), automorphic with respect to the congruence subgroups \(\Gamma (q)\) in \(G_2({\mathcal O})\), where \(\mathcal O\) is the ring of integers of the field \(\mathbb{Q}(\sqrt {-3})\) and \(q\) is an ideal in \(\mathcal O\). The fundamental theorem from our earlier paper [op. cit.] provides formulas that express the Fourier coefficients of Eisenstein series in the form of the products of some series \(D_{\mu, \nu}\) by some special functions. The series \(D_{\mu, \nu}\) are sums with respect to the dual classes \(\Delta_\times \setminus \Gamma(q)/^t \Delta_+\). Here \(\Delta_+\) and \(\Delta_\times\) are intersections of \(\Gamma (q)\) with some minimal and maximal parabolic subgroups in \(G_2 (\mathbb{C})\). The main aim of the present paper is to choose in the dual classes \(\Delta_\times \setminus \Gamma (q)/^t \Delta_+\) representatives such that one can give more admissible expressions for the series \(D_{\mu, \nu}\). We accomplish this via Proposition 9.
