    For a prime \(p\) congruent to 1 mod 4, denote by \(\varepsilon_ p=(t+u\sqrt p)>1\) the fundamental unit of real quadratic field \(\mathbb{Q}(\sqrt p)\). Then, it is known by the reviewer that for any fixed positive integer \(u\), there exist only a finite number of \(\mathbb{Q}(\sqrt p)\) with class number one. [Proc. Japan Acad. 64, 53-55 (1988; Zbl 0662.12006 in title, but Zbl 0659.12008 in contents)]. In this paper, the authors show that for \(1\leq u\leq300\) there exist exactly 44 real quadratic fields \(\mathbb{Q}(\sqrt p)\) of class number one with one more possible exception and determine all these fields as follows: \(\mathbb{Q}(\sqrt p)\): \(p=5\), 13, 29, 53, 173, 293, (\(u=1\)); 17, 37, 101, 197, 677, (\(u=2\)); 61, 149, 317, 773, (\(u=5\)); 41, 269, 557, (\(u=10\)); 797, 2477, (\(u=13\)); 157, 461, (\(u=17\)); 109, (\(u=25\)); 1013, (\(u=29\)); 941, 1877, (\(u=37\)); 509, 3533, (\(u=41\)); 1493, (\(u=61\)); 653, (\(u=65\)); 1613, (\(u=74\)); 2693, (\(u=85\)); 181, 89, 389, 1637, 113, 277, 397, 1277, 1997, 73, 137. Additionally, the reviewer obtains that there exist exactly 30 \(\mathbb{Q}(\sqrt p)\) of class number one satisfying \(t/u^ 2>1/2\) (i.e. \(n\neq0\)) with one more possible exception [Nagoya Math. J. 120, 51-59 (1990; Zbl 0701.11046)].
