    The Measure Contraction Property MCP\((K, N)\) was introduced independently by \textit{S.-i. Ohta} [Comment. Math. Helv. 82, No. 4, 805--828 (2007; Zbl 1176.28016)] and \textit{K.-T. Sturm} [Acta Math. 196, No. 1, 133--177 (2006; Zbl 1106.53032)] as a weaker variant of \(CD(K, N)\). The main goal of the paper is to show a sharp isoperimetric inequality à la Lévy-Gromov in the following form: Thereom 1.1 Let \(K, N \in \mathbb{R}\) with \(N >1\) and let \((X, d, m)\) be an essentially non-branching measure metric space verifying MCP\((K, N)\) with \(m(X) = 1\) and having diameter less than \(D\). For any \(A \subset X\), \[ m^+(A) \geq \mathcal{I}_{K,N,D}(m(A)). \] Moreover the inequality is sharp. Finally, for each \(K, N, D\) and \(v \in (0, 1)\), \[ \mathcal{I}_{K,N,D}(v) < \mathcal{I}^{CD}_{K,N,D}(v). \]
