Neural networks with memory (Q1180692)

After surveying several neural network models found in the literature, the paper proposes an integro-differential equation model by introducing a general integral form of memory on a model due to Hopfield. Although the stability problem is not completely solved for such a general model, the author obtains a boundedness result and a first result on asymptotic stability of equilibrium points. For simplified versions of the model, several stability results were obtained.
