By the contradiction argument, the author proves, for given real numbers \(q,m_0>0\) such that \(16\pi q^2>1\) if \(n=6\), (1) the boundedness of every positive solution \((u,\varphi)\in [C^{2,\theta}]^2\) (\(\theta \in ]0,1[\)) of the Schrödinger-Poisson critical system, \[ \begin{cases}\Delta_q u+ \omega^2 u +\varphi u= u^{(n+2)/(n-2)},\\ \Delta_q \varphi + m_0^2\varphi = 4\pi q^2 u^2,\end{cases} \] in a closed Riemannian manifold (connected compact without boundary) of dimension \(n\geq 6\); and (2) the existence of a phase \(\omega_0>0\) such that for any \(\omega^2 \geq \omega_0^2\) the above problem has no smooth positive solutions.
