The paper under review deals with the study of quasi-invariance properties and related integration by parts formulas for the horizontal Wiener measure on a foliated Riemannian manifold equipped with a sub-Riemannian structure. The authors use very different techniques and approaches to prove their results. For example, in order to prove quasi-invariance, they develop a stochastic calculus of variations for the horizontal Brownian motion on a foliation while in order to prove integration by parts formulas, they use Markovian techniques and martingale methods. Several types of integration by parts formulas for the horizontal Brownian motion are established in the second part of the paper.
