The authors consider a diffusive susceptible-infected-removed in short SIR system with nonlocal delay. The main focus of study is to obtain the conditions for existence and nonexistence of traveling wave solutions. Travelling wave is important concept to study since it describes the propagation of disease without outbreak threshold. It is also established that at any fixed moment, the faster the disease spreads, the more infected individuals, and the larger the recovery/remove ratio is, the less infected individuals.
