The authors approach the problem of the existence of sampling sequences with both densities and sampling bounds close to the optimal ones for the Paley-Wiener space PWS defined on a bounded set \(S\) of small measure. Several theorems regarding the existence of sampling sequences are proven for the case when \(S\) is compact and when it is a general measurable set. At the end of the paper several remarks and two open problems, one regarding the possibility of combining two the proven theorems are presented.
