Finite jet determination of local CR automorphisms through resolution of degeneracies (Q2472600)

This paper deals with the conjecture that on real-analytic holomorphic nondegenerate CR hypersurfaces local CR automorphisms are determined by their finite order jets [see \textit{M. S. Baouendi, P. Ebenfelt} and \textit{L. P. Rothschild}, Commun. Anal. Geom. 6, No. 2, 291--315 (1998; Zbl 0982.32030)]. The authors show that finite jet determination holds true under the assumption that the Levi form is nondegenerate at some point. In the proof they use a blow-up technique, that can be viewed as a resolution of the degeneracies of \(M\). In this way the original problem is reduced to some special classes of degenerate cases, for which suitable results are already available to yield the desired result.
