On Schanuel's conjectures (Q2550744)

This paper is largely an amplification of the author's discussion [1969 Number Theory Institute, Proc. Symp. Pure Math. 20, 206--212 (1971; Zbl. 221.10035)] of certain conjectures of Schanuel about transcendence properties of the exponential function or related functions in special types of fields. At the same time, some more general theorems and related results are given, including a relative version of Schanuel's conjecture for differential fields of characteristic zero.
