Verf. gibt im Falle des planparallelen und des kugelsymmetrisch geschichteten Strahlungsfeldes ein Approximationsverfahren für die Berechnung der Strahlungsverteilung aus einem System von Differentialgleichungen an, das Schritt für Schritt eine physikalische Deutung zuläßt. Diese besteht in der Betrachtung der durch Streuung wiederholt abgelenkten Lichtstrahlen.
