The paper studies the asymptotic for the coefficients of products of large powers of generating functions. This asymptotic combined with a local limit theorem is applied to a number of combinatorial enumeration problems that involve multivariate Lagrange inversion. The combinatorial enumeration problems include noncrossing partitions, plane trees by vertex degree, 3-connected rooted maps, plane rooted colored trees.
