    Let \(M\) be a ruled surface in the 3-dimensional Lorentz-Minkowski space \({\mathbb L}^3\) defined by \(X(s,t)=x(s)+tB(s)\), where \((x , F)\) is a null curve with frame \(F=\{A,B,C\}\). \(M\) is called a B-scroll if \(F\) is a Cartan frame, i.e., \(A, B, C\) are vector fields along \(x\) in \({\mathbb L}^3\) satisfying the conditions \(\langle A, A\rangle =\langle B, B\rangle =0\), \(\langle A, B\rangle =-1\), \(\langle A, C\rangle =\langle B, C\rangle =0\), \(\langle C, C\rangle =-1\) and \(x' =A, C' =\alpha A-k(s)B\), \(\alpha \) being a constant and \(k(s)\neq 0\). In the paper under review, the authors prove the following result: B-scrolls over null curves are the only ruled surfaces in \({\mathbb L}^3\) with null rulings whose Gauss map \(G\) satisfies the condition \[ \Delta G =\Lambda G,\tag{\(*\)} \] \(\Lambda\) being an endomorphism of \({\mathbb L}^3\). This result completes the classification of the ruled surfaces in \({\mathbb L}^3\), for which the base curve \(x \) is a non-null (respectively null) curve and which satisfy \((*)\) given by \textit{S. M. Choi} [Tsukuba J. Math. 19, 285-304 (1995; Zbl 0855.53010)] (respectively, by \textit{S. M. Choi, U-H. Ki} and \textit{Y. J. Suh} [Tsukuba J. Math. 22, 273-279 (1998)]).
