Dirichlet series with periodic coefficients (Q1290391)

The authors study arithmetic functions \(f\) with positive period \(q\) and the associated Dirichlet series \(L(s,f)= \sum_{n=1}^\infty f(n)n^{-s}\) as generalizations of Dirichlet \(L\)-functions. They obtain closed form evaluations of \(L(k,f)\) and \(L^{(k)} (1,f)\) for positive integer \(k\), generalizing and unifying known results of many other authors. They also treat previous problems associated with products of several \(L\)-functions.
