Orthogonal hypercubes and related designs (Q1299084)

This paper is mainly a survey of recent achievements in deriving analytical formulae, calculating the general quantity of orthogonal hypercubes. The statement of this theme is made from results on examining the well-known Euler conjecture to open problems on this subject. Of great interest for mathematicians are also the results presented in sections 3 and 4 of the paper, where some modern applications of hypercubes are discussed. In particular, various connections, existing between affine geometries and sets of hypercubes, are considered. Although the paper is mainly devoted to problems on calculating general quantities of orthogonal hypercubes, it contains a lot of references to recent publications on other related topics.
