Let \(X=GM\) be a group factorization. Let \(H\) be the bicrossproduct Hopf algebra \(kM\triangleright \blacktriangleleft k(G)\). The authors show that the quantum double \(D(H)\) is also a bicrossproduct \(kX\triangleright \blacktriangleleft k(Y)\), where \(YX\) is a group with \(Y=G\times M^{op}\). This provides a class of bicrossproduct Hopf algebras which are quasitriangular. For every order-reversing automorphism \(\theta\) of \(X\), they construct a subgroup \(Y^\theta X^\theta\). The corresponding Hopf algebra \(kX^\theta\triangleright \blacktriangleleft k(Y^\theta)\) has the same coalgebra structure as \(H\). Using this and related results, they classify the bicovariant quantum tangent spaces and obtain the corresponding one-forms. The irreducible bicovariant calculi correspond to the choice of an orbit in a quotient space of \(X\) along with an irreducible subrepresentation of the isotropy subgroup associated to the orbit.
