The authors prove that the Schrödinger equation \((- {d^ 2/ dx^ 2} + u(x)) \Psi (x,z) = z \Psi (x,z)\) with potential \(u(x) = \sum^ M_{\ell=1} g_ \ell (g_ \ell + 1) P(x - x_ \ell)\) where \(P(x)\) is the Weierstrass elliptic function has a solution of the form \[ \Psi (x,z) = \exp (kx) \sum^ M_{\ell=1} \sum^{g_ \ell - 1}_{j = 0} a_{j\ell} {d^ j \over dx^ j} \Phi (x - x_{\ell}; \alpha) \] where \(\Phi (x, \alpha)\) is a solution of the problem under cosideration at \(M = 1\), \(g = 1\). Parameters of these solutions (which are named the elliptic solitons) are shown to be set on special algebraic curves that cover a torus. The paper generalizes some previous studies.
