Measurable solutions of functional equations of sum form (Q1332979)

The author obtains the measurable solution of the functional equation \[ \sum^ k_{i = 1} \sum^ \ell_{j = 1} \bigl[ f_{ij} (x_ i y_ j) - \sum^ n_{s = 1} g_{is} (x_ i) h_{js} (y_ j) \big] = 0 \tag{1} \] with \(\sum x_ i = 1 = \sum y_ j\) when \(k = 2 = \ell\) where \(f_{ij}, g_{is}, h_{js} : [0,1]\to \mathbb{C}\). Special cases of (1) were solved by many authors including the present author and the reviewer.
