The authors present a study of generalized pure spinors including what they call ``partially-pure'' spinors, i.e., some special type of Weyl (=semi-)spinors such that \(0 < \nu < n\), where \(n\) is the dimension of a vector space \(W\) endowed with a neutral quadratic form and \(\nu\) is the dimension of \(N(x)\), the totally isotropic subspace of \(W\) which consists of all vectors annihilating the spinor \(x\). There are few new results in the paper, but they are important (Theorems 1-5). I would like to comment that the historical remarks on the concept of spinors is far from complete, since no mention is given to the concept of Hestenes spinors. For a more detailed history about spinors, see \textit{P. Lounesto} [Found. Phys. 23, 1203-1237 (1993)].
