The author establishes a uniqueness theorem for an mixed initial-boundary value problem of linear homogeneous anisotropic micropolar thermoelasticity with voids. The solution to the problem is defined as an ordered array of functions \(s= [u,\omega, E,\Psi, S, M,\varphi,\theta, q]\) which satisfies the governing equations subject to suitable initial and boundary conditions. Here, \(u\), \(\omega\), \(E\), \(\Psi\), \(S\), \(M\), \(\varphi\), \(\theta\), and \(q\) denote the displacement, rotation, strain, torsion, force-stress, couple stress, volume fraction, temperature, and heat flux fields, respectively. The result is a ramification of the uniqueness theorem obtained by \textit{M. Ciarletta} and \textit{D. Ieşan} [Non-classical elastic solids, Pitman Res. Notes Math. 293, Longman Scientific and Technical (1993; Zbl 0790.73002)]. The reviewer notes a number of misprints: e.g. in Eqs. (28) \(\varphi_i\) should read \(\varphi\).
