Let \(K\) be a finite simplicial complex and \(M(K)\) be the minimal (co)chain complex in the sense of MacLane. If the coefficients ring is the prime field \(\mathbb{F}_p\) then \(M(K)= H(K)\). The authors establish that Steenrod operations can be designed in an easy way in \(M(K)\). They also produce an algorithm for computing Adem secondary operations of \(K\) when \(p= 2\).
