The author constructs a new family of hypersurfaces in the standard sphere for which equality is attained in the estimate for the smallest eigenvalue of the Dirac operator in terms of the mean curvature due to \textit{C. Bär} [Ann. Glob. Anal. Geom. 16, No. 6, 573--596 (1998; Zbl 0921.58065)].
