The authors continue to investigate fuzzy subsets of ordered groupoids started in a previous paper [Semigroup Forum 65, 128--132 (2002; Zbl 1006.06008)]. An ordered groupoid is called a poe-groupoid if it has a greatest element \(e\). A similar terminology is applied in the case of an ordered semigroup. Let \((S, \circ, \leq)\) be an ordered groupoid and let \(F\) be the set of all fuzzy subsets of \(S\). The authors define a binary operation \(\circ\) and a binary relation \(\subseteq\) on the set \(F\). They prove that \((F;\circ,\subseteq)\) is a poe-groupoid with a zero element and that \(S\) is embedded in \((F;\circ,\subseteq)\). In particular, if \(S\) is an ordered semigroup, then \((F;\circ,\subseteq)\) is a poe-semigroup.
