Let \(k\) be a field. Let \(R\) be a positively graded \(k\)-algebra with homogeneous maximal ideal \(\mathfrak m\). Let \(I,J\) be proper homogeneous ideals of \(R\). The purpose of this article is to answer, in negative, the following question: Is the ring \(R/IJ\) always Golod? The author constructs various examples of monomial ideals \(I,J\) in \(R= k[x,y,z,w]\) such that \(R/IJ\) is not Golod (Example 2.1). Also see the Examples 2.3, 2.5. The author uses the software \texttt{Macaulay2} to check various computations. At the end the author raises various questions on the Golodness of ideals.
